Story:
Candy was rescued 5 years ago. She has been in foster care for 4 years.
But why? You might ask, well…
When Candy was rescued, she was taken to the vet, she regained health, she was fully vaccinated and she was spayed. She only had one issue left before being put up for adoption: She was afraid of everything.
Candy would get extremely stressed with the most minor situations, this triggered Candy to suffer from nervous colitis on a constant basis. She stopped suffering this when she was moved into a new foster home with Don Nacho, who is part of the FHSTJ rescue team. Candy has been at this foster home for 4 years.
So why is Candy now up for adoption?
Well with the help of Don Nacho and his wife, Candy has improved over the years. The Candy we met 5 years ago is a very different dog than the Candy we currently know.
In her foster home, although there are several dogs, Candy’s needs are completely cared for 24/7. But Candy deserves more than that, we wish that she can have a family of her own, who will not only care for her, but also give her all the love and attention she deserves.
That is why Candy is now up for adoption, and we believe her forever family is out there. A family who understands her needs, a family who will keep a calm environment, who will love her and care for her.
